The Young People’s Division focuses on the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and economical development of young adults and youth in the church and the community.
Engages young adults between the ages of 18 and 35 in an interactive ministry to encourage their participation in the Church. The goal of the Young Adult Ministry is to produce leaders in the Church who are grounded in the Word of God. This ministry responds to counseling needs and encourages the young adults to participate in activities.
RAYAC was born at the 45th Quadrennial Session of the AME Church and is an outgrowth of the Richard Allen Youth Council (RAYC). The RAYAC no longer serves as an overseeing body of other youth organizations, it is now a group for young adults between the ages of 21-39. The goal of the RAYAC is to retain young adults to the Lord, and the church, and to lead young adults to use their gifts and talents in the service of the Lord.
